I just wanted to take a moment to thank Rita for having the vision to care for the homeless in our community... through Laurel Palacios at Hill Country Bible Church Northwest, I had the opportunity to help fill up about 200 Bags of Grace in our Sunday School class about a month ago, and last week I finally had a chance to hand out our first of 3 bags that we took from that class, and the man that I gave it to was visibly moved and just thanked God for the gift that I was able to provide him... he told me "God bless you" about 6 or 7 times (I lost count) and then proceeded back to his corner at Mopac and Parmer, and all the way back to his corner checking out the contents inside the bag... again, my thanks to Rita and to Laurel for sharing this idea with us so that we, too, can be the hands and feet of Jesus to the homeless in our community!
