Thank You for the Storm

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose." Rom 8:28

Even a severe hail storm can "work for good." It certainly made me more aware of my blessings.

As I walked in the backyard this morning to feed the birds, I remembered to be thankful for things I take for granted EVERY DAY.

"Thank you, Father, that I can walk. Thank you, Father, that I can see."

As I walked over broken twigs that still covered the ground, I said, "Thank you, Father, that I have shoes."

Seeing what is left of our fence, still standing, I added, "Thank you, Father, that we are safe."

So many blessings!

I am now more acutely aware than ever that what is here today may be gone tomorrow - thanks to a hail storm from hell.

"Thank you, Father, for the storm!"
