What Is Amplify Austin Day?

Each spring, our community pauses for something special.

Amplify Austin Day is a 24-hour giving event hosted by I Live Here I Give Here through AmplifyATX.org. For one day, neighbors across Central Texas come together to support the ministries and nonprofits serving right here at home.

For Bags of Grace, Amplify Austin isn’t just about fundraising. It is about being reminded that we do not serve alone. We are part of a generous, compassionate community in Austin that cares about the overlooked and the hurting.

A Little History

Since launching in 2013, Amplify Austin Day has grown into the largest giving day in Central Texas. Over the years, millions of dollars have been raised to strengthen more than 1,600 local nonprofits.

Last year alone, thousands of donors came together to support hundreds of organizations across our region.

That same spirit of generosity has allowed Bags of Grace to grow from distributing a few hundred Bags each month to thousands. And behind every number is a person - a Neighbor - who received something practical and something even more important: the reassurance that they are seen.

When Is Amplify Austin Day 2026?

Amplify Austin Day will take place: 6:00 PM on March 4 through 6:00 PM on March 5, 2026.

Early giving is already open, which means you can participate now if you feel led.

Why It Matters to Bags of Grace

Last year, in 2024, we were able to place more than 15,000 Bags of Grace into the hands of our Neighbors.

That number still humbles us.

Because of the generosity shown during Amplify Austin - and throughout the year - we were able to increase that number by thousands in 2025. More Bags. More conversations. More quiet reminders to someone on the margins that they are not invisible.

And as we look toward 2026, we carry a simple prayer: that we can do even more. Not for the sake of numbers, but for the people behind them.

Each Bag holds hygiene essentials. But it also carries dignity. It says, “You matter.” It reminds someone that God has not forgotten them. Your gift helps us purchase supplies in bulk, prepare for growing need, and remain consistent in our outreach throughout 2026.
